Care Manager I, II, III
Full-Time/40hrs/Non-Exempt/$19.95 - $24.15 per hour (DOE)
Pay differentials offered - must qualify through testing or verification for the following special competencies.
*Language Translation - Bi-cultural Spanish ($1.00 per hour) *Bimodal Bilingualism - ASL Sign Language - Interpret from American Sign Language (ASL) to English, and English to ASL. ($1.00 per hour)
Under general supervision Care Managers assist in providing rehabilitative, restorative treatment services, crisis intervention, therapeutic intervention, assessment evaluation, and moderately complex, professional-level case management, including visiting with clients in residential or other settings, making referrals and counseling with clients on various issues, and one-on-one behavioral support.
Must be able to drive personal vehicle for work related duties and transport of clients. 100,000 / 300,000 Liability Insurance required.
Classifications and Qualifications for Care Manager:
Care Manager I - An individual who has less than two (2) years of FTE experience in mental health related field providing direct mental health service
Care Manager II - An individual who has at least two (2) years but less than four (4) years of FTE experience in a mental health related field providing direct mental health services.
Care Manager III: An individual who has at least four (4) years of full-time/equivalent (FTE) experience in a mental health-related field proving direct mental health services. Up to two (2) years of the four (4) years of experience can be substituted by years of education in a mental health-related field. There is a minimum requirement of two (2) years of actual work experience.
* *The education requirement for a Care Manager III - must be a minimum of two (2) years of education (60 semester or 90 quarter units) with a minimum of 12 semesters (18 quarter) units in a mental health-related subject area such as child development, social work, human behavior, rehabilitation, psychology, or alcohol and drug counseling.
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT: This position may work within ALL other agency programs, consistent with their scope of practice, on a as needed basis. In addition, may require occasional flexible work schedule to meet the individualized needs of each client.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: CA Driver's License, Current Auto Insurance, Clean DMV Printout, clear background check w/ DOJ, CACI, FBI, CPR and First Aid Certified.
TB Test and Physical at the time of employment.
Employment in the Behavioral Health Services require proof of Covid-19 vaccination or exemption per California Public Health Officer. All RCS employees are required to either have documented proof of full COVID-19 vaccination or a Religious or Medical Exemption on file.
