About Redwood Materials
Redwood Materials is seeking a Production Planner to create, modify, and manage production schedules. This role will report to the Sr. Manager of Material and Production Planning. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, highly motivated; and will have the ability to manage multiple tasks with changing project demands
Responsibilities will include:
- Generate the master production schedule and communicate requirements cross-functionally throughout the organization.
- Evaluate sales orders, demand plans finished goods inventory levels, and production capacity to create optimized production schedules.
- Manage production work orders
- Escalate risks to plan proactively, drive resolution with production, engineering, etc.
- Coordinating production plan with operations balancing material, labor, and equipment availability.
- Report daily on production actuals vs daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly plan
- Compile status reports and key performance indicators to improve production processes and material availability. Establishes production manufacturing priorities schedule for the customer demands consistent with master scheduling requirements, inventory objectives, and make to stock level goals
- Meet established schedules. Meets daily with cross-functional team to resolve delayed customer shipments, component shortages, overtime, priorities, and identified problems
- Participate on teams focused on process improvements, including material flow, cycle times.
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree required, with specialization in supply chain management, industrial engineering, or operations management preferred.
- Strong analytical skills and experience using quantitative tools (Excel, PowerBI,)
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple project and set priorities.
- Experience in a manufacturing planning environment
- Working knowledge of ERP and Manufacturing systems
- Understanding of expectations working in regulated industries. Chemical Manufacturing experience a plus.
- Strong communication skills, ability to influence across groups, and create alignment.

The position can be located in our USA Parkway or Carson City offices dependent upon the location of the most qualified candidate.
The position is full-time. Compensation will be commensurate with experience.

Salary : $54,100 - $68,500
