Specialized fraud investigation company seeking enthusiastic entry-level Field Investigator. Full- or part-time position available. Compensation based on qualifications, experience, and availability.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
- Conducts surveillance in an independent, covert setting
- Works with field supervisor to develop an investigative plan of action
- Conducts in-person interviews
- Prepares written and recorded statements
- Provides legal testimony
- Employ investigative techniques for asset and/or individual locate services
- Analyzes camera footage and compiles detailed reports of activities
- Writes comprehensive investigative reports
Minimum Requirements
- 18 years of age with high school diploma or GED
- Possess a valid state-issued driver’s license and reliable vehicle (that doesn’t stand out) with valid auto insurance
- Proficient in use of email, internet, and mobile applications
- Successfully pass a comprehensive criminal background check
Desired Education and Experience
- 2 years previous experience as a private investigator
- Law enforcement and/or military experience
- Understanding of insurance fraud investigations and techniques
- Some college experience preferred
- Flexible schedule
- Willing to work weekends
