About The Role:
Our team is currently hiring an E-comm. Site Merchandiser. This role will fall within the E-commerce team and will be highly visible across all verticals of the company. You will be responsible for executing the onsite merchandising and content strategy, including product launches, promotions, brand storytelling, merchandising, and analytics. This is a highly cross-functional role reporting to the Director of E-commerce that requires someone who can operate in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment and is eager to learn about all things direct-to-consumer.

About The Role:

You will be responsible for executing the onsite merchandising and content strategy, including product launches, promotions, brand storytelling, merchandising, and analytics. This is a highly cross-functional role reporting to the Director of E-commerce that requires someone who can operate in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment and is eager to learn about all things direct-to-consumer.
- Help develop and execute strategy for assortment presentation, marketing storytelling, and visual brand positioning on Reef.com
- Responsible for the end to end set up of all products on the site, including but not limited to product imagery, product descriptions, pricing & all product attributes for categorization & filtering.
- Optimize internal search and filtering capabilities to keep pace with evolving assortment and customer journeys onsite – including managing search synonyms, search mapping, and filter categories
- Help set-up and execute DTC promotions and onsite cross-sell and up-sell strategies
- Develop and execute a test and learn strategy for optimizing customer journeys on site
- Own the Sydic8 PIM, leveraging the system to manage product tags, pricing, categories, product details, and more – ensuring all information is up-to-date and is correctly syndicating to Shopify
- Support Director of Ecommerce with website development pipeline, specifically assisting with UAT of site enhancements and bug fixes as needed
- Own all site content briefing and upload, partnering with the digital team to brainstorm angles and focus areas for key stories and then developing and presenting all site briefs to creative team during weekly brief-ins and then uploading final assets in a timely manner
- Partner with buying team to launch all products on-time each season, QAing all product details and imagery to ensure accuracy of information and positioning
- Build and maintain all Landing and Collection Pages onsite, as well as all company information pages (FAQ, About, etc.)
- Analyze sales and onsite performance data, presenting findings and action items during weekly team meeting
- Partner with CRO Manager on navigation/breadcrumb/taxonomy optimization, executing the new setup
- Partner with Director of Ecommerce, site development and third-party agency on ongoing SEO efforts
- Daily QA of site and customer journeys to identify any potential issues and/or areas for optimization
- Create all gift cards, bulk promo codes, and custom promo codes for other Reef internal team needs (digital, marketing, product, executive, etc.)
- Manage size charts and fit information, updating as new information becomes available from customers
- Moderate Reef.com reviews and report out to the business
- 1-2 years of professional experience
- Ability to work as a team as well as independently
- Collaborate and communicate with multiple stakeholders to continually drive the best customer experience possible while meeting business objectives
- Passion for online shopping and new technologies.
- Working knowledge of internet platform product management- experience in Shopify a plus
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills required; Basic HTML/CSS a significant plus
- Experience with Google Analytics and general understanding of ecommerce performance metrics
- Comfortable multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Effective time management skills
- Pro-active, self-starter with an ability to identify issues and areas of opportunity
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable collaborating with multiple teams
- Compensation Range: $70-75k
Employees are required to work a hybrid schedule.
- Days in office at our HQ in Carlsbad, and (2) Days Remote.

Salary : $70,000 - $75,000
