What You'll Do:
The General Manager ensures safe and efficient parking and mobility operations, while delivering service that exceeds our customer/client's expectations. The General Manager is responsible for all aspects of operating multiple locations in a specified geographical region including staff management, revenue control, safety, and client relations. - Manages and coordinates all activities related to parking and mobility operations to meet and/or exceed customer and client expectations.
- Develops and maintains positive relationships with current and potential clients.
- Develops and implements parking policies and procedures with assigned clients and REEF regional management.
- Recommends operations changes based on investigation, data collection and data analysis.
- Ensures high standards of professionalism, in conjunction with maintaining compliance to all policies & procedures.
- Creates a consistent work atmosphere that demonstrates internal and external high quality service standards.
- Provides on-going training and leadership to operations personnel working with regional management and Human Resources on subordinate development.
- Responsible for on-going performance reviews, training and employee relations.
- Facilitates personnel actions such as hiring, promotions, terminations and disciplinary measures.
- Recruits and interviews qualified candidates as needed ensuring a quality level of staff to meet operational requirements.
- Maintains labor and expenses within budget guidelines, unless directed by client or regional management in special situations.
- Ensures the timely submittal of required and/or requested client management reports (financial and operational).
- Implements and monitors safety program to minimize employee injuries and vehicle claims.
- Responds to and investigates customer complaints and communicates resolution to both customer, client representative, and regional management.
- Manages all sub-contractor accounts, services and relationships.
- Attends all parking-related client meetings and contributes to the overall conversation.
- Keeps the clients informed and updated on parking operations issues and concerns.
- Completes other duties as assigned/required by regional management.
What We Want from You:
- Bachelor's Degree (B.A./B.S.) from an accredited college or university and six (6) years' experience in a multi-site operations management role, preferably within the parking industry.
- Effective oral and written communications skills.
- Ability to comprehend and implement oral and/or written policies, procedures and instructions.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with customers, clients, members of the business community, and the general public.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to read and interpret financial reports.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize work activities.
- Ability to train, mentor and develop personnel.
- Knowledge of employment laws.
- Knowledge of contract administration
- Knowledge of the principles and practices of administrative analysis.
- Ability to collect, compile and analyze data.
- Must have basic typing skills, and be proficient in Microsoft Word, and Excel.
