Overview: We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Host/Host. As a Host/Host, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest services and ensuring a positive dining experience for our customers. Duties: - Greet guests as they arrive and seat them at their designated tables - Provide menus to guests and assist with any questions or special requests - Manage the waitlist and accurately estimate wait times - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station and lobby area - Collaborate with the kitchen and waitstaff to ensure smooth flow of service - Assist in taking reservations and managing phone calls - Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism and escalate when necessary Experience: - Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a restaurant or hotel setting - Knowledge of POS systems, such as Aloha POS, is a plus - Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively - Familiarity with food service procedures and practices - Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment - Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills At our establishment, we value teamwork, exceptional service, and creating memorable experiences for our guests.
