Summary
Under the general direction of the Regional Manager, the Warehouse Associate & Delivery Driver performs mostly manual work by requisitioning, receiving, storing, stocking and distributing a wide variety of materials and supplies and ensuring the enforcement of all warehouse procedures as well as making deliveries to job sites as needed.
Job sites are typically located in Minnesota and the surrounding states. Some overnight stays should be expected.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time.
- Oversees stocking, storing, labeling, packing all materials, equipment and supplies.
- Supervises the physical receipt, checking and storage of delivered materials into the warehouse; conduct physical inventory of warehouse materials.
- Follows procedures for the operation and maintenance of a computerized inventory control system; conducts review of inventory data.
- Supervises the maintenance of inventories of commonly used items to maximize warehouse storage and prevent stocking of seldom used merchandise
- Operates fork lift truck and other warehouse equipment efficiently and safely.
- Prepares all materials and equipment for shipment to field locations according to packing lists.
- Upholds the stocking, storage and disposition procedures for all warehouse materials.
- Inspects physical condition of the warehouse and equipment and prepares work orders for repairs and requisitions for replacement of equipment;
reports on and corrects problems.
- Ensures all warehouse safety requirements and departmental housekeeping standards are followed.
- Delivers and picks up materials and equipment from various job sites to a multitude of states.
- Loads a dual axel deck-over and dual axle enclosed trailer, including strapping pallets and equipment per DOT guidelines.
- Performs daytime deliveries to customers as needed pulling dual axel trailer with a ¼ ton pick-up truck. Valid driver’s license required.
- Maintain positive working relationships with co-workers.
- Must have the ability to work independently.

Education and / or Experience
Requires high school diploma or general equivalency (GED) and a minimum of 1-3 years of related experience.
Language Skills
Ability to communicate effectively with other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several variables in standardized situations.

The employee works in a factory and warehouse environment and is occasionally exposed to wet, humid conditions and toxic or caustic chemicals.
