Summary
Will perform operations in the Tumble classification as assigned
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate wet and dry tumblers in the department
- Operates hand tools such as files and other hand deburring tools
- Check work as parts are produced, uses measuring equipment or checks for proper finish conditions
- Monitor timers on tumblers or otherwise handles batch stars and stops
- Conduct operator level maintenance tasks.
- Records labor and other production information on time sheets, KPI boards or other places as assigned.

- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude
- Ability to understand and follow work instructions

Education and Experience Requirements
- Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent
- Work experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred
- Knowledge of shop mathematics and tolerances is preferred
Physical Demand and Work Environment:
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently
- Use of hand tools and the ability to use material handling devices
- Must be able to sit / stand for long periods of time as necessary in the work area
- Ability to reach and work with arms extended
