Deburr Operator

Summary

Will perform operations in the Tumble classification as assigned

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate wet and dry tumblers in the department
• Operates hand tools such as files and other hand deburring tools
• Check work as parts are produced, uses measuring equipment or checks for proper finish conditions
• Monitor timers on tumblers or otherwise handles batch stars and stops
• Conduct operator level maintenance tasks.
• Records labor and other production information on time sheets, KPI boards or other places as assigned.

• Ability to understand and follow work instructions

Education and Experience Requirements

• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent
• Work experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred
• Knowledge of shop mathematics and tolerances is preferred

Physical Demand and Work Environment:

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently
• Use of hand tools and the ability to use material handling devices
• Must be able to sit / stand for long periods of time as necessary in the work area
• Ability to reach and work with arms extended
