As the HR Business Partner, you would be an integral team member of the PTS business segment at a booming site for a global manufacturing company that values integrity and innovation. Partnering directly with the plant management team, the HR Business Partner is a key member to the leadership team over a facility that is continuing to grow and improve within the manufacturing market. This is a Fast-Paced, Hands-On role, responsible for leading the implementation of strategy and HR initiatives to influence growth and profitability and manage and execute talent acquisition, leadership development, succession planning, and workforce Diversity and Inclusion.
Major Responsibilities:
Workforce Planning
- Champions Regalrexnord values and Creates a culture of integrity, responsibility, diversity & inclusion, customer success, innovation with purpose, continuous improvement, performance and a passion to win, all with a sense of urgency.
- Conducts workforce planning based on the individual functional strategy and leverages data and analytics to identify priorities.
- Assesses needs and draws connections across the functions and operations; identifies implications from talent, structure and skills requirements.
- Develops organizational design and restructuring plans to optimize resource allocation.
Employee Relations
- Acts as front line support for employee relations topics including, but not limited to:

Investigations regarding alleged harassment, discrimination, or policy violations
- Compensation review and job analysis
- Reasonable accommodation requests
- Acts as coach/advisor for management regarding employment law issues
- Assists with performance action plans and disciplinary action
- Escalates issues with considerable risk or exposure to HR management
- Collaborates with union leadership regarding contractual issues
Talent Management/Leadership Development/Diversity & Inclusion
- Drives the talent management initiatives to establish a robust pipeline of diverse leadership talent.
- Partners with various leaders to facilitate the creation and execution of experience-based development plans and exposure for high potentials.
- Manages the talent review and succession planning process for the site.
- Implements actions to create a highly engaged, high performing, and inclusive work environment at the Milwaukee HQ site.
Talent Acquisition
- Plays a lead role in the recruitment process for open positions at various levels
- Owns onboarding and orientation experience for new hires
- Manages relationship with temporary staffing agency vendors to supply talent on an as needed basis
Functional Expertise
- Provides hands-on coaching to functional and site teams.
- Advisor and coach to the functional and site leadership on appropriate HR practices and policies; ensures implementation and compliance.
- Identifies opportunities to simplify processes.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
The successful candidate will have proven experience for leading all aspects of the HR function in a manufacturing environment and in developing collaborative relationships across all levels. This leader must have the passion, energy and intellectual curiosity necessary for a fast-paced, growth-driven environment. Be able to employ forward thinking and could expeditiously execute significant business projects and programs.
Required Education / Experience / Skills:
The ideal candidate will be an experienced HR professional with a track record of metric driven achievements. You must have exceptional interpersonal skills; experience building high performance culture; the ability to attract and retain ‘A’ player talent; and a strong influencer of change.
- Bachelor’s degree required in Human Resources, Organizational Effectiveness or related field.
- Master’s degree highly preferred.
- 5 years HR business partner experience; preferably within a global industrial manufacturing environment.
- Generalist background, with broad knowledge of recruitment, benefit and compensation administration, employee relations, legal compliance, safety, and training and development.
- Previous Human Resources experience working with a union and contract negotiation experience preferred.
- Demonstrated track record of partnering with leaders to develop and implement talent strategies that produce measurable outcomes and drive business results.
- Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills to establish trust, credibility and rapport at all levels of the organization; seen as humble, direct, and authentic, while possessing leadership presence.
- Proven ability to be hands on, demonstrate resourcefulness, initiative, results-orientation. Has a mindset of continuous improvement and can embrace Regalrexnord’s 80/20 principles.
- Demonstrated ability to develop strong partnerships and influence resources outside one’s direct responsibility.
- SHRM certification a plus.
