This role will help manage the personal accounting and tax functions for the Chairman of Regent, LP.

This position will be based 5 days a week at Regent’s headquarters in Beverly Hills, California.
This role will help manage the personal accounting and tax functions for the Chairman of Regent, LP.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
The Staff Accountant’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Responsible for general accounting duties including participating in the period end close, analyzing data and day-to-day responsibilities including:
- Prepare journal entries by compiling and reviewing source documents
- Draft accruals associated with key accounts
- Reconcile and maintain balance sheet accounts
- Perform financial analysis of balance sheet and income statement
- Provide support for year-end closures, audits and tax preparation
- Ensure compliance to GAAP and company standards and controls
- Comply with legal and ethical standards
- Follow up on all outstanding issues on a timely basis
- Maintain excellent customer service with internal and external partners
- Execute ad hoc requests and projects from internal and external partners
- Bill pay and manage invoices
- Enjoys working in dynamic and fast-paced environment with an entrepreneurial mindset
- Aspires for continuous improvement
- Can fill gaps where needed and be self-motivated
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting
- 2 year of Accounting or Finance experience
- Expertise in generally accepted accounting practices with CPA certification preferred but not required
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and partners
- Advanced Excel skills and experience including analysis of mass data sets, Vlookups, pivot tables and formulas are required
- Ability to prepare work accurately, timely, and be very detail oriented
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Quickbooks Online experience/certification is preferred but not required

Salary : $65,000 - $82,500
