Head Start Floater – 10am-6pm - Relieve teaching staff and maintain child/staff ratios; provide safe, loving, nurturing environment; meet physical, emotional, intellectual, social needs of children, implement program goals; maintain appropriate room arrangement; sensitive and response to parents and be a resource person for them; complete and maintain paperwork; work in various classrooms as assigned; classroom maintenance such as moping, trash disposal, sweeping, dusting, etc.; consistent and regular attendance a must.

  • Must have a high school diploma or GED.
  • Must be able to obtain a Qualification Letter from DCDEE.
  • Must have valid driver's license and a vehicle available during all working hours.
