Job title: Ultrasound Technologist – Days

Location: West Burlington, IA

Duration: 13 weeks

Blended Weekly Pay: $3000 to $3200

Shift: Day shift position, hours are 6:30a-5p, with convenient housing available.

Certification:

· ARDMS , Must be registered ultrasound technologist.

Job Description:

· Performs: General Abdominal Sonography, Vascular Sonography (Doppler), OB/GYN Sonography, Small parts Sonography on all populations. Basic computer skills as well as PACS knowledge. Produce ultrasonic recordings of internal organs for use by physicians. Day position.

· Operate diagnostic ultrasound equipment to demonstrated anatomical or physiological structures of the human body for diagnostic purposes.

· Produce quality images as directed by the radiologists and physicians for the diagnosis or treatment of anatomic or physiologic disorders.

· Demonstrate knowledge of general and cross sectional anatomy, technical factors, and basic computer skills.

· Function to work independently and in a cooperative manner in teamwork oriented atmosphere within the department as well as hospital wide.

· Must be able to provide exceptional care and satisfaction skills to all customers.

Unit Description

· Experienced sonographer that can produce quality images for General Abdominal, Vascular (Doppler), OB/GYN, and small parts sonography exams.

· Candidate should be comfortable with procedures to include to Paracentesis, Thoracentesis, Biopsies, and Surgical cases.

· Operates diagnostic ultrasound equipment to demonstrate anatomical or physiological structures of the human body for diagnostic purposes.

· Knowledge of general/cross-sectional anatomy and technical factors. Functions to work independently, while being team oriented throughout the health system.

· Prioritizes providing exceptional care and patient satisfaction. Three new Canon ultrasound machines as of 10/2022.
