Job Description:
At EnerBank, the Operations Systems Analyst is responsible for changes in scripting and correspondence in core banking systems, including but not limited to, designing, developing, testing and deploying changes to operational scripts.
EnerBank USA, a division of Regions Bank, engages in strategic partnerships with home-improvement manufacturers, distributors, franchisors, trade groups, and other organizations (with networks of home improvement contractors) to develop customized white-label loan programs to help them increase their sales as well as attract and retain top dealers.
Primary Responsibilities
Collaborates with cross functional teams throughout the bank to gather requirements and ensure solutions are consistent with business needs
Acts as the primary administrator for some systems and provides direct support for those systems
Designs, develops, tests, and deploys process scripts for loan servicing software
Creates, tests, and implements correspondence from loan origination and loan servicing systems
Ensures adherence to change management procedures
Provides administrative support for core business systems
Analyzes processes and recommend improvements
Manages multiple projects, while providing issue tracking, resolution, and escalation of critical issues and risks in regular intervals
Performs internal audits to ensure adherence to established procedures
This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field
Four (4) years of systems or related experience
Skills and Competencies
Ability to document flow of current processes, track process changes, and interact closely with process owners
Ability to learn, and in some cases self-train, various software packages
Ability to meet deadlines
Excellent attention to detail
Familiarity with scripting and logical operations
Proficiency with computer software including Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint
Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
Strong decision-making and prioritization skills
Strong problem-solving skills
Strong time management skills
Works well independently or collaboratively with a team
