We are seeking ambitious, experienced CDL Drivers- (pay starting at $19.00 shift premium) for our manufacturing operations located in Cullman, Alabama.
Responsibilities
Position Summary
- Drives "yard dog" tractor trailer combination with a large amount of backing up 53 foot trailers while applying knowledge of all driving regulations.
- Drop and Hook required.
- Transports product between local warehouses.
- Maneuvers truck into loading and unloading position and assists in unloading trucks.
- Ensures the trailer is completely loaded and secured before moving from the loading area.
- Arranges trucks and trailers on the yard in an orderly and efficient manner as directed by management.
- Driver will report safety hazards and repairs to management.
- Performs additional job tasks as needed to ensure team goals and objectives are met.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Driver must be proficient with backing up, hooking and unhooking semi-trailers.
- Verifiable clean driving record
- Candidate must have a good work and attendance history, flexible with hours, and must be available to work weekends.
- Must have and maintain CDL’s
- Will train CDL with 2 year contract
