Responsibilities
REHAU Incorporated, a leading international polymer manufacturer, is seeking a highly analytical and creative Market Innovations Intern for our Innovations Hub at our Americas Region Headquarters in Leesburg, VA. We are looking for an innovative intern with an entrepreneurial spirit to join our team. As a market research intern, you will collaborate with our technical experts and marketing teams to help shape the future of the REHAU Group. Your insightful contribution will help develop, expand and maintain our new products. This 12-week paid summer internship will help you acquire the business skills and experience needed to enter any fast-paced work environment. Due to the pandemic, this position will be available as hybrid this summer.
Additional job responsibilities for the Market Innovations Intern include:
- Participate regularly in brainstorming sessions for the development of new products
- Perform market analysis and help identify new business opportunities/models
- Conduct market research within our industries to identify new market trends
- Assist with creating business cases for new products
- Conduct competitor analysis studies
Qualifications
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, engineering or a related field
- Knowledge and experience using a variety of research techniques
- Proficiency in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required
- Experience within innovation, project management or a similar field
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Outstanding time management and organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to work well independently and on a team
- Willingness to learn, think creatively and execute quickly
