Local specialized plastics manufacturer in Athol is currently accepting applications for their packing role! This job is hiring immediately, qualified candidates may be required to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
Material Handler/PackerSchedule: Overnight 3rd (S-Th, 11p-7a)
Individuals will be responsible for a variety of duties including:
Qualified individuals will be pulling products, verifying counts and measurements against order specifications, as well as bagging and packaging various manufactured plastics. This position also includes loading and unloading production machines and requires a bit of moving around.
Job Duties:
- Work from factory orders and special customer requirements to evaluate and meet specifications of plastic products.
- Load and unload machines and package products, visually examine, inspect and measure products as specifications suggest.
- Detect and report any unusual conditions, defective materials, or other malfunctions.
- Maintain equipment and work area in clean and proper condition. Observe safety regulations.
- Ability & willingness to cross-train on other machines throughout the plant.
Benefits:
