What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Manager position at Reliance One, Inc.?
Job Requirements
- Directs the processes of order receipt / EDI, material planning and receipt, production scheduling, inventory accuracy / management, warehouse management, and shipping to customers and ASN validation
- Utilizes management tools to review trends, ensures all processes are up to target, evaluates and reports significant inventory variance, identify root cause and corrective action for inventory discrepancies
- Analyze future customer demand to identify manpower, tooling and equipment needs, and provide information for capacity planning
- Supervises subordinates in essential functions, and ensures departmental compliance of all company policies / procedures and customer mandates
- Audits subordinates and their work areas to ensure employee safety and housekeeping
- Acts as a catalyst for continuous improvement of all materials systems processes and procedures
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in Industrial Engineering, Economics, Business Administration or relevant work experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing, production planning, and material management
- Previous management experience and experience in an automotive materials group
- Strong Proficiency with MRP systems, SAP, and OEM Supply concepts
- Experience using Kanban, EDI, and ERP systems for controlling the material flows
