Overview
Summary:
This position will be a key asset in the future growth of the company. This individual will help drive the FP&A Department and will be spear-heading the Company’s financial forecasting & annual budgeting processes, financial reporting, variance analysis, BI reporting, and special projects. S/he will provide financial consulting and strategic support to senior management, including preparing board presentations, financial presentations, capital expenditure analysis, industry/peer group comparisons, new business opportunities, acquisition analysis, and other projects requested by senior management. This function acts as the analytical arm of the company, providing data-driven insights to support ‘optimal’ business decision making.
This role will have 1-3 direct/indirect reports (Financial Analysts).
Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop Reliant’s Annual Operating Plan, Including P&L, Cash Flow, and Board Presentation
- Oversee and manage the continued development (& improvement) of balance of year Financial & Cash Forecasting (including Debt Covenant Calculation)
- Prepare and present Quarterly and Monthly Financial reports
- Prepare presentations to Board of Directors and Senior Management Team
- Support Cash Flow forecasting process with reporting and analysis on Collections and DSO
- Drive Capital Expenditure Request (CER) process, expediting investment approval. Includes financial analysis and authorization role
- Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and performing variance analysis
- Report and Analyze customer and site profitability, including key performance trends on Revenue, Cost of Sales, Profitability, Payor Mix, etc.
- Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives
- Support Senior Management Team and Departments heads with strategic initiatives
- Lead role in end-to-end implementation of ad hoc projects and/or initiatives
- Partner with all departments to develop and fully utilize BI reporting, analysis, and feedback
- Manage the development and production of Dashboard reporting for all stakeholders
- Supervise, coach, and develop Financial Analyst(s)
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications
Competency:
To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:
- Experience in the healthcare industry and ancillary services preferred
- Ability to take independent ownership of processes and initiatives
- Highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized
- Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills (across all levels of organization)
- M&A Transactional experience for organizations greater than $50M revenue
- Demonstrated ability to work with team members in a hands-on management capacity
- Ability to build strong relationships with a diverse population
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, productive work environment
- Experience managing a professional group, providing appropriate direction and coaching
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA highly preferred
- Multi-year experience managing direct reports
- 10 years of progressive experience in FP&A and Corporate Finance
Computer Skills:
- Proficient knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)
- Solid understanding of relational databases, and extensive experience with BI software
- Experience with Optima, Ultipro, Salesforce, Intacct a plus
Travel Requirements:
- Up to 10% intermittent travel (site visits, due diligence, etc.)
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Up to 3 direct reports
