Overview
KUBRA is looking for a passionate and skilled iOS Developer to join our Mobile Apps team.
As an iOS Developer, you will be part of a team that has been challenged with evolving to the next generation of iOS Mobile offerings at KUBRA. The best part? You will have the chance to take native apps from concept to implementation.
KUBRA's hiring efforts will continue during the COVID-19 pandemic. Any face-to-face stages of our interview process will be virtual via video conference.

What you get to do every day
- Participate in the full mobile application development lifecycle
- Develop, test, and deploy user interface, service tier, and data tier components for complex mobile applications
- Code, debug, test, and maintain applications to meet requirements
- Contribute to design of new functionality and expand existing functionality for iOS applications
- Communicate with clients and collaborate with project managers, developers, and UI/UX designers
- May travel to visit clients throughout North America to deliver technical presentations and training
What kind of person should you be?
- You are proud of your app(s) in the App store or enterprise deployed apps
- You enjoy keeping up to date on all mobile industry trends and current events
- You have excellent written and verbal communications skills and can maintain a high degree of professionalism in all client communications
What skills do you need?
- Demonstrable knowledge of iOS (Objective-C or Swift) development
- Demonstrable knowledge of object oriented programming principles
- Technical knowledge of SOAP/REST/JSON service integration
- 1-3 years of app development experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience but a Master’s degree would be even better!
- Experience writing web services or other server-side components
- Knowledge of Swift is preferred
- Bonus points if you have experience working in the utility or energy industry
- Ability to translate graphical mock-ups to code would be nice
