Renaissance Milwaukee West, AAA Four Diamond premium distinctive hotel is seeking an energized and curious minded Director of Food and Beverage to join our Leadership Team.

Role Summary:
- A member of the Executive Committee, oversee all beverage and food outlets, strategic planning, operations, and staff. Outlets include Eldr Rime, Lobby Bar, Club Lounge, In-Room Dining, and Events (Banquets).
Responsibilities:
- Generate new business from existing and new guests/clients within beverage and food outlets.
- Utilize a wide variety of marketing tools and strategies (including use of social media).
- Develop marketing campaigns and corresponding online and printed marketing materials.
- Assist with selection, training, counseling, and motivating associates.
- Participate in the development of hotel expense budget. Operate within established guidelines regarding costs, expenses, sales, and profit for food and beverage departments. Develop, institute, and maintain control and procedure to ensure sameness.
- Work with individual vendors; ensure services and invoices match and supplies are competitively priced.
- Meet with and solicit comments from guests, regularly, to determine and improve guest satisfaction.
- Schedule, evaluate, and direct all food and beverage staff.
- Establish, direct, and review performance standards in food preparation, purchasing, and production to ensure effective, controlled, coordinated efforts are achieved. For example, specs, recipe cards, menu costing, inventory control, etc.
- Monitor, direct, and coordinate effective sanitation, cleanliness, and organization effort in food and beverage areas; to include maintenance and control of glassware, china, silver, linen, and supplies.
- Coordinate efforts of the food and beverage departments to coincide with volumes in business generated by the Sales/Catering and Rooms Division. For example, group commitments, full occupancy, etc.
- Analyze, monitor, and manage to profit and loss statements.
Compensation:
- The starting annual pay for this position is $100,000.
