Senior Document Review Specialist

Overview

The Senior Document Review Specialist will complete post-closing reviews of loan documentation, including reviews of commercial, consumer, complex participation, and syndication type loans. The Senior Document Review Specialist will assist with supervision of personnel dedicated to the post-closing review process in order to maintain workflow and ensure compliance with Loan Policy and procedures, as well as SOX requirements under the guidance of the Credit Admin Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Examine loan documentation to ensure compliance with established loan policies and procedures.
  • Communicate with and assist all lending personnel with questions and problems concerning proper loan documentation.
  • Review productivity and workflow reports to ensure workflow remains within SOX requirements for completion of documentation reviews.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor degree in business related field preferred (or additional years of directly related experience, above the minimum, will be considered)
  • Minimum of 3 years of underwriting, loan documentation or loan operations experience
  • Must be able to prioritize and plan work activities as to use time efficiently
  • Knowledge of bank related software
  • Must be able to prioritize and plan work activities as to use time efficiently
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to learn and use new systems, processes, policies and procedures effectively and efficiently
  • Be a positive, proactive and flexible employee providing RNSTXcellence service to both internal and external relationships
