Heavy Equipment Operator/Laborer

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Equipment Operator to join our team. As an Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating various types of heavy equipment to complete excavation projects. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefit opportunities.

Duties:
- Operate bulldozers, graders, backhoes, and other heavy equipment to perform excavation tasks
- Use equipment to dig trenches, level ground, and move materials
- Perform horizontal drilling and trenching operations
- Safely operate Caterpillar machinery and other specialized equipment
- Follow project plans and blueprints to ensure accurate execution of tasks
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations on the job site
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently

Skills:
- Proven experience in operating heavy equipment such as bulldozers, graders, backhoes, dump trucks, etc.
- Proficient in the use of Caterpillar machinery
- Strong knowledge of excavation techniques and practices
- Ability to read and interpret project plans and blueprints
- Skilled in performing horizontal drilling and trenching operations
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness
- Attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot equipment issues

Requirements:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) preferred
- Proven experience in heavy equipment operation

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
