Overview

The Traffic Manager & Logistics Associate works with, and at the direction of, the Master Planning, Scheduling, and Procurement Manager, ensures that customer routed shipments out of each facility are handled quickly, safely, and within customer expectations. The position will coordinate outbound shipments of customer routed. The role will also manage customer specific websites for routing, scheduling dock appointments, customer traffic communications, and ensuring routing compliance for specific customer freight.

Work Experience/Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or 2 years’ equivalent traffic related work experience, or
• APICS/CSCMP designations for inventory management.
• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Must possess strong computer skills, using Excel, Microsoft Word, Power Point, and internet
  applications.
• Strong written and oral communication skills, time management, decision-making, human
  relations, and organization skills.
• Must have understanding of production process for product knowledge.
