The Sales Support Administrator position is responsible for providing support to for the North American dealer network and a team of Regional Business Managers (RBM) with sales support information. The SSR will relieve the RBM of administrative work. Duties may include order processing/entry, making price quotations, record keeping, RFP response, product training, or other related tasks. The SSR must work closely with the sales, marketing, service and parts department and provide support and coverage on an as needed basis. Minimal travel may be required to assist a member of the RBM team with an event to support our dealer network.
DUTIES
General Duties
- Drive and support assigned dealers in the sales of all products
- Take appropriate actions on concerns and issues from dealers
- Coordinate customer activities
- Monitor, follow-up and report sub-regional market dynamics and dealer sales performance
- Communicate to the Sr. Sales Manager possibilities/risks regarding discounts affecting prize realization and market share in sub-region
- Work with Regional Service Managers to develop assigned dealers product support departments, resolve technical issues, secure dealer competencies and motivate dealer in product sales
- Support Key Account & governmental activities for assigned area
- Direct Dealer Machine Coordination and Communication
- Receive and process all inbound dealer purchase orders
- Consistently Communicate with dealer / sales & factory personnel on ship schedule and all details
- Complete order by preparing for invoicing - ensure correct pricing, discounts & terms
- Monthly Machine Retail – Dealer inventory movement report databases. Includes data entry into company machine movement system. Must be completed with required month end deadline with accuracy.
- Customer Management duties includes: Maintaining and modifying Dealer Accounts, Customer Contacts and active opportunities as information is provided by the dealer network.
- Lead Generation Management
- The SSR will assist in sales training set up this will include, Setting up all printed and digital materials, organizing dealer sales rep RSVP, travel accommodations and coordination. Follow up and distributing confirmation information to each Sales School Registry.
- The SSR will be responsible for procuring and loading flash drives or other media necessary to provide successful sales school information to the dealer sales student.
- The SSR will assist the Marketing Manager with Focus Magazine (Outsourced) – May require SSR to handle invoicing, and Focus Mailings
- Mailing Materials Preparation, including new dealer marketing and promotional materials.
- Accurately gathering all printed and digital materials and shipping the materials out within one week of the company accounting department’s announcement of the new dealer or existing dealers new branch expansion.
- Provide assistance with databases
- Dealer follow-up, which may include, dealer local show support (Assigned as need per event coverage requirements), coordination and shipping of support materials, promotion (advertising, etc.), Purchase orders – Create and receive, proofing – Print projects and brochures, Coop Claims – Processing and reporting
- Bachelors degree in business related field (Preferred)
- 5 years practical working experience in sales related activities (preferred)
- Requires 2 -4 years of related customer service experience.
- Must have PC proficiency of MS Office and aptitude to learn other software systems and applications.
- Must have a proven track record that reflects being self-motivated and a self-starter as this position requires the ability to work independently and to be able to utilize critical thinking skills to resolve problems and be creative to meet the best interests of all parties involved.
- Must have excellent time management skills and be able to plan and prioritize activities to maximize dealer and customer support efforts with the end result always being customer satisfaction.
- Must be results driven, and have excellent organization and follow up skills
- Must accept Ownership of any task assigned and be persistent yet tactful in resolve.
