Reputation is seeking an experienced, self-motivated Staff Accountant to join our world class Accounting team working directly for the Senior Manager, Corporate Accounting. In this role, you will be a key player in the month-end close process, while supporting the Company's growth by participating in ad-hoc projects, documenting and improving upon current processes, and system implementations. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about technology and finance, and who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
The ideal candidate for this role has a background in accounting and has at least one to two years of accounting experience with a passion for continued education. Major job duties include maintaining financial reports, records, and general ledgers; preparing and analyzing account reconciliations; and performing operating expense and cost analyses.
Responsibilities:
Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial closes, including assigned journal entries, balance-sheet account reconciliations, and overall maintenance of operational management accounts
Execute mid-level general-ledger account reconciliations, accurate reporting, and data verification, enabling senior staff to analyze options and make financial decisions aligned with company objectives
Assist with the ongoing automation of our operational processes and help drive the creation of standardized accounting procedures
Assist with the implementation of the new ERP
Collaborate with various departments to ensure proper expense allocation and coding.
Process and record employee travel expenses, ensuring compliance with company policies.Work cross-functionally with different Accounting and Finance team members to standardize policies and assist in the creation of internal controls
Assist with external financial audits by providing supporting documentation and materials as requested for annual and interim periods
Continuously identify and develop solutions for process improvement

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or related field
1-2 years experience in corporate accounting
High-tech/SaaS industry experience a plus
Exceptional organizational skills, detail-oriented mindset, and a high sense of urgency
A proactive, self-directed approach with the ability to multi-task, think creatively, and learn quickly in a fast-paced environment
Workday, NetSuite, Intacct, or similar ERP experience preferred
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
A passion for blank canvases to implement process improvements
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
