About this Career Opportunity:
- Transports patients to and from treatment areas as scheduled.
- Assists with treatment as directed by therapists and discusses on a daily basis with the licenses staff the individual patient treatment strategies/goals.
- Assists with cleaning and maintenance of treatment and department areas. Washes, dries and folds laundry.
- Keeps track of inventory of the clinic supplies and assists with ordering additional supplies.
- Assists front office with answering phones and scheduling patients.
- Performs clerical work as directed.
- Assists with assembling, maintaining, and submitting patient billing documentation in the format and timelines required by the Company, facility, funding source, local, state and federal regulations.
- Answers patients, visitors, and family members questions accurately and refers him/her to the appropriate party in a timely manner.
- Adheres to standards of the Company's Code of Business Conduct, policies, HIPAA and Corporate Compliance programs and appropriate professional practice standards and applicable state/federal laws.
- Attends, participates in and/or conducts internal staff development programs and meetings; obtains continuing education as required by company policy and regulations
