Summary:

Research Tool & Die Works powered by Fairbanks Morse Defense is seeking a motivated individual to fill a janitorial position at our facility located in Carson, CA. The janitorial position is essential to our business and is to work across several buildings. You will perform a variety of maintenance and cleaning tasks to keep the buildings looking perfect. To work well in this role, you should have basic maintenance knowledge around building repairs and experience cleaning.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities

• General cleaning of the buildings and keeping them maintained and in good condition
• Vacuum, sweep, and mop all floors
• Cleaning and stocking all restrooms as needed (With toilet paper, Paper Towles, Soap Etc.) and filling out cleaning log to keep track of work/repairs needed to be made
• Clean up spills with appropriate equipment
• Perform Minor Repairs and notify management of major repairs
• Collect and Dispose of Trash
• Keep Cleaning Supplies Stocked
• Cleaning all restrooms daily
• Other duties assigned by supervisor

Qualifications and Educational Requirements

• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Strong sense of time organization and urgency
• Able to work independently and within a team
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds unaided
• Ability to bend, crouch, and lift items throughout shift
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Ability to manage your time efficiently
• Able to use basic cleaning equipment.
• This position includes access or potential access to export-controlled data. Therefore, you will need to qualify as a U.S. Person, which is defined as a U.S. Citizen, a U.S. Permanent Resident or a political asylee in compliance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Acceptable proof of this status includes a US Passport, Permanent Resident Card, US birth Certificate or Naturalization Certificate. Maintenance, including renewal, of licensing authorization is a condition of employment. Government authorization may be a suitable alternative after review on a case-by-case basis.
• This is a full-time 40 hour per week position; however, overtime will be scheduled as need. The standard shift is from 7:00AM-4:15PM Monday-Thursday and 7:00AM-12:00PM on Friday. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.50 per hour
