Danfords is looking for a full-time Payroll/HR Admin/Accounts Receivable
What you will be doing
• Communicate effectively and clearly with all applicants, employees, managers, corporate staff, and co-workers.
• Assist with the recruitment and interview process.
• Conduct phone screenings and schedule interviews.
• Process bi-weekly payroll
• Assist in any payroll duties and manage employee timesheets in ADP, as necessary
• Updating of employee personnel files
• Working on recruitment, orientation, and training materials
• Provide administrative support to Controller
• Ensure compliance with related Federal and state employment eligibility requirements and employment laws.
• Works cooperatively with all members of the team; initiate and maintain excellent working relations.
• Responding to staff inquiries regarding employee benefits and other HR-related matters
• Assist and HR team with filing, scheduling and other administrative tasks as needed
•Verify accuracy of night audit work i.e. reconciliation of banquet check extensions, coding of banquets at cost, review and route sales and promotion checks with back-up.
•Post ledger payments, reconcile and bill accounts. Preform follow-up billing, collection documentation and inform management of potential uncollectible accounts.
•Reconcile credit card back up and inform management of any discrepancies. Bill out credit cards (AMEX, MC, VISA, ETC.)
•Process and follow-up on all returned checks accepted as cash payment. Record General Ledger and City Ledger reconciliation.
•Set up new accounts in accordance with policies and procedures
Essential Qualities
• Strong organization, multitasking and time management skills
• Working knowledge of MR Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) • Detail oriented
• Maturity, professionalism, and ability to maintain confidentiality is a must
• Customer service orientation, always friendly and polite
• Highly motivated and results-oriented
