If you like what you hear, we want to talk with you! Resident (www.residenthome.com) is looking to hire manufacturing operators for our first manufacturing facility!

As the Manufacturing Operator you will be responsible for ensuring proper operation of manufacturing equipment is maintained, safety guidelines are followed, and production goals are met.

Here’s what you will be expected to do each day:

• Must learn the different types of mattresses produced and the configuration of each
• The successful candidate will be expected to become an efficient operator of multiple pieces of equipment including, but not limited to, destackers, lamination, fire sock & cover assembly, packaging equipment, etc.
• Must be able to use hand scanner and read the daily production schedule
• Must fully understand quality standards as prescribed by management
• Work in any position on the line when needed, including all associated machines on Inside or Outside Rotation
• Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions.
• Maintains the work area in a neat and orderly condition.
• Follows prescribed safety regulations such as Lock out/Tag out procedures as directed by Plant Manager or Safety Director.
• Set the machine up for running jobs.
• Other duties as assigned

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The employee will generally be housed in a shop environment with possible exposure to extreme hot and cold temperatures.  The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.  Personal Protective Equipment is provided and required.
