Procurement Manager

ADI is looking for a Sourcing Manager to develop and execute ADI's Private Brands procurement strategy within our Global Sourcing network.

This position will report to the Vice President of Private Brands and will be responsible for the transformation and execution of strategic procurement for the North American Manufacturing sites. This position will integrate closely with the businesses and functions to create a culture of executing on customer satisfaction, cost and efficiency improvements, and assure supplier performance while overseeing and supporting the procurement sourcing and QA team members.

JOB DUTIES:

• Provide long and short-term strategic purchasing plans consistent with and supportive of company goals and objectives.
• Communicate the vision of the sourcing and QA function. Alignment of Procurement vision with company business and growth strategies.
• Partners closely with the businesses and Product/Category Management functions on New Product Introductions (NPI) and QA.
• Identify leading practices from inside and outside of ADI for implementation/adoption.
• Facilitate the collective team’s ability to manage projects to specification and cost parameters on a timely basis.
• Support key members of the Private Brands operations.
• Develop appropriate supply strategies and negotiation approaches with input from Business Unit leaders.
• Facilitate change management with cross-functional teams and key contacts throughout the organization.
• Create and maintain scalable/sustainable processes to drive effective procurement across the organization.
• Develop RFP’s and negotiate new contracts.
• Negotiate supply contracts and select and develop relationships with key suppliers.

YOU MUST HAVE:

• BA/BS
• Extensive experience in procurement, particularly with overseas suppliers.

• In depth knowledge and experience of strategic procurement processes.
• Demonstrated success in formulating and executing strategic sourcing strategies, developing and maintaining effective relationships with key suppliers, and establishing effective processes and methods of ensuring satisfactory supplier performance.
• Experience in identifying business opportunities that maximize profitability.
• Demonstrated success in leveraging global spends across the enterprise.
• Strong project management and leadership skills.
• Highly self-motivated to manage strategic, tactical, and operational execution.
• Ability to provide responsive support to business units and accomplish corporate cost reductions
• Excellent interpersonal skills to facilitate change management with colleagues and key contacts throughout the company.
