Job Description
We are currently recruiting for a North America Product Marketing VP (Sr Director Level) to be based out of our Long Island NY HQ in Melville, NY. This role is responsible for leading all ADI’s product marketing efforts in North America. This individual will be responsible for providing strategic plans and insights that enable the business to achieve the sales and profitability targets for ADI’s Security and Low Voltage Distribution Business in North America.
The role will partner closely with the VPGM for North American and reports into Global VP, Product Marketing for ADI to achieve the regions strategic and financial objectives.
job Duties:
- Oversee NA Category Management, Marcom, Product Data Maintenance, Events, and Integration teams
- Develops and executes go-to-market strategies
- Develops annual and five-year goals and strategies by product category
- Ownership of North American supplier relations
- Collection and dissemination of Market Intelligence and translation into effective implementation
- Develops and maintain strong vendor relationships
- Ownership of product marketings working capital strategies, including inventory assortment, and payment terms
- Enhance current marketing communication strategy for customers
- Oversee production and distribution of key marketing communication vehicles including catalogs, sales flyers, trade shows and events
- Recruiting, hiring, and training the appropriate leadership team and support teams to achieve goals
- Act as Marketing’s leader in cross-functional initiatives including Business Excellence
- M&A due diligence support including post M&A integration leader for the ADI marketing function
- Product data ownership via the current and future ERP system supporting PIM and DX enablement
You Must Have:
- An undergraduate degree in marketing, business or technical discipline is required.
- Extensive experience and a demonstrated track record of accomplishments in marketing, category management, supplier relations, and planning.
- Ability to work effectively with senior-level executives and manage internal customer relationships.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the capability to communicate with all levels of an organization.
- Broad functional experience in areas of strategic planning and product marketing, business and market development, market research and planning and promotions/advertising.
- Proven people leader and developer of talent.
- Experience managing in a matrix and lean culture that continuously prioritizes operational excellence.
