Position Overview
The Warehouse Admin is responsible for assisting with overseeing day-to-day warehouse operations. The Warehouse Admin is also responsible for assisting with managing relationships with vendors and/or suppliers, and ensuring all products are handled safely without damage throughout the entire process from receiving to shipping.
Essential Functions
- Assist with maintaining a safe environment within the warehouse.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels and records.
- Organizing Stock Requests and ensuring item are log to fulfill requests by employees.
- Reporting all/ any incorrect information on Stock Requests and PO’s to Management within a timely manner.
- Closing out Stock Requests as within Warehouse systems.
- Receiving in PO’s based on what the vendor delivers to Warehouse.
- Verify appropriate receipt of all items delivered; verifies quantities ordered, physical conditions, and specification of products before stored or delivered to a department. Any deliveries without a purchase order must be investigated and mostly rejected at receiving.
- Inspect food quality at receiving using best judgement and ensures all food & beverage deliveries received in conjunction with the order forms.
- Maintain departmental shipping/receiving logs to ensure accurate tracking. All purchasing orders must state the status of the delivery (i.e., open, received, partial)
- Ensure all Receiving Reports are completed daily in a timely manner.
- Assist with all month end and quarterly inventories of non-food and food & beverage.
- Resolve shipping/receiving problems (such as refused items, shorted items or credits given by vendors while on the dock), by communicating with purchasing and/or supervisory personnel.
- Communicate with Purchasing for Price Adjustments on PO’s that do not match monetary value in Warehouse operating systems (Red Rock).
- Ensuring and assisting with warehouse staff to comply with all department rules, regulations, policies, procedures, internal controls and any local, state and federal rules and regulations.
- Organizing and filing all Warehouse paperwork into the appropriate cabinets.
- May assist with warehouse clerks and their duties/functions when deemed necessary.
- Provide outstanding customer and employee service at all times.
- Present oneself in a neat and clean appearance at all times.
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned.

- Ability to remain organized in a pressure and fast pace situation

- Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relations with staff and colleagues
- Ability to diplomatically attend to complaints
Knowledge/Work Experience
- Must be 18 years or older
- (1) year experience of related experience preferred
- Must be able to obtain and maintain the appropriate license through the New York State Gaming Commission
