Overview
RES is currently accepting applications for an Accounts Payable Administrator for Baton Rouge, LA office mainly focused on accounts payable for the entire company.
What your day-to-day might look like?
- Ensuring bills are paid in a timely and accurate manner while adhering to departmental procedures.
- Ensuring bills are entered to the correct GL account and project.
- Processing due invoices for payments
- Comparing purchase orders, prices, terms of payment and other charges
- Processing transactions and performing accounting duties such as account maintenance, recording entries and reconciling vendor statements
- Receive and process mail
- Maintain office equipment
- Serve as an office contact for deliveries and office meetings

Qualifications
- Associate degree or higher or around 2 years’ experience in similar roles or general accounting positions.
- Expert-Level knowledge of spreadsheets (MS Excel) is crucial, and experience with word processing tools is essential for generating and writing reports for record-keeping and presentations.
