We are currently recruiting for a Make_Ready Specialist! The Make-Ready Specialist plays a pivotal role in our plant, responsible for facilitating efficient equipment set-up and ensuring seamless transitions between print runs. This position demands a pit-crew mentality, requiring speed, precision, and a keen eye for detail to optimize production processes.

Responsibilities:
1)Machine Setup and Adjustment:
- Execute machine setups and adjustments based on job specifications and printing requirements.
- Ensure all machinery and equipment are calibrated accurately for each print run.
2) Make-Ready Process:
- Perform make-ready procedures swiftly and accurately to minimize downtime between jobs.
- Collaborate with production teams to streamline make-ready processes for increased efficiency.
3) Quality Control:
- Conduct thorough inspections before and after each print run to verify print quality, color accuracy, and alignment.
- Identify and rectify any issues that may affect print quality, making necessary adjustments promptly.
4) Troubleshooting and Maintenance:
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions or technical issues during setup or production.
- Collaborate with maintenance teams to address and resolve mechanical or technical problems.
5) Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with make-ready team, press operators, supervisors, and other team members to ensure smooth workflow transitions.
- Communicate effectively to convey job status, challenges, or any relevant information during setup processes.
6) Adherence to Safety and Procedures:
- Follow and enforce all safety protocols and company procedures to maintain a safe working environment. Uphold compliance with quality standards and printing guidelines throughout the make-ready process.
Field Label
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and a minimum of three years or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must be able to read and interpret ruler, scales and other measurement devices.
- Proficiency in operating Flexo printing machinery and equipment.
- Technical expertise in machine setup, adjustment, and troubleshooting.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on maintaining high-quality print standards.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and adhere to tight deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing technical issues.

Salary : $36,600 - $46,300
