What are the responsibilities and job description for the Billing Assistant position at ReSource Pro?

MIS, a ReSource Pro company, is seeking a talented and motivated entry level individual to join our Billing team. The candidate will report to the Director of the deaprtment and will be responsible for insurance billing for clients.

This role is based at the MIS office in Maitland, FL with the option for hybrid remote work arrangements after training period.

After 3 months you will...

  • Responsible for various administrative accounting duties related to Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
  • Reconcile Billing System to Underwriting System
  • Post daily cash receipts and reconcile bank statements
  • Oversee invoicing process
  • Research and resolve account reconciling items and assist with monthly close procedures
  • Communicate with clients regarding billing issues
  • Perform other related accounting duties as assigned by management

What you need to be successful...

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong command of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Detail-oriented and exceptionally organized
  • Sound analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to interact on a professional level with internal and external personnel
Your Compensation
Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry, and are one part of the total compensation package that also includes annual bonus eligibility, benefits, and other opportunities at ReSource Pro. Individual pay decisions are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, geography, and balancing internal equity relative to other ReSource Pro employees. This is a hybrid position out of our office in Maitland, FL. The salary range for this location and role is $10.47-$24.76 per hour. The salary range could be lower or higher based on the specific geographic location in which the candidate resides.
