Restaurant City’s focus is providing customers with the RIGHT products at the RIGHT price, RIGHT now! As such, our stores are built around having a huge selection of new, scratch & dent, and factory overstock specials inventory IN STOCK, far beyond most traditional brick-and-mortar dealers. We’re looking to add another member to our team who is an experienced warehouse manager, and understands the importance of warehouse organization, maintaining safety standards, and training and development of warehouse staff.
Responsibilities/Qualifications
- 5 years Warehouse Manager Experience REQUIRED
- Physical Inventory management experience a plus
- Ability to work as part of a team as well independently and communicate product or layout issues and suggest resolutions as the situation requires.
- Position requires hands on, active role in the warehouse
- Work closely with the Sales and Management Teams
- Set warehouse and team goals in collaboration with management and other team leads
- Delegate responsibilities and educate staff on systems to assist with understanding how to maximize efficiency and minimize the potential for errors which could disrupt the customer experience
- Take an active role in training new warehouse staff, and performance management of existing staff
- Promote a culture of Safety and Cleanliness in the warehouse
- Directs forklift drivers to store goods in identified areas.
- Responsible for periodic physical inventory counts
- Work with management in planning of warehouse layout, taking into consideration turnover, size, weight, and other related factors of stored items
- Develop and implement new systems to help improve warehouse efficiency and operations
- Coordinates and schedules the movement of products throughout the warehouse
- Effective time management and strong organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency with email as a standard method of communication between departments and for reporting on project deliverables
- Strong interpersonal/management skills
- Capacity for continuous physical effort and the ability to lift over 35lbs as well as bending, reaching and climbing ladders.
- High level of accountability and initiative: regular attendance is required.
- Schedule is Monday – Friday 8am-5pm and alternating Saturday’s 9am-1pm
- Salary based on experience, up to $85K
