[Team Retentics]

With our vision of “Enabling companies to leverage AI in business optimization.", we create RevOps services that address various practical issues faced by companies and help them achieve growth.

Our first product, "Retentics", is a service that assists e-commerce companies with transaction data in executing AI-based hyper-personalized marketing. In the fiercely competitive e-commerce market, we strive for revenue-based growth on "Customer retention." We aim to pioneer a new market where all aspects of marketing campaigns, such as target selection, hyper-recommendation, and data analysis can be addressed in-house through Micro-SaaS, which many find challenging due to lack of ‘resources’.

Within just 3 weeks of establishing our corporation, we secured seed investment from Kakao Ventures. In 2023, we further garnered additional investment in a Pre-A round from U.S.-based investment firms, ‘Primmer Sazze’ and ‘Valon Capital’ (led by SendBird's CEO, Kim Dong-shin), recognizing the team's capabilities and growth potential.

In the second half of 2023, we successfully launched our Shopify App and we are in the process of developing operations in the North American market, targeting DTC(Direct-to-Consumer) businesses.

Job DescriptionDevelop core products, improve certainty and efficiency, and manage the product optimization process to meet rapidly growing demands through planning and development.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop the backend for web-based SaaS products.
• Build and manage data pipelines that reliably process and operate large volumes of data.
• Optimize server operations to ensure the implementation of machine learning created by data scientists in the product.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in web-based product development or ML ops.
• Experience or understanding of deploying services in a container-based environment, such as Docker.
• Someone who thinks from the customer's perspective, prioritizes the customer's experience in development.

Preferred

• Ability to communicate in English.
• Experience in backend server development using Python.
• Understanding or related work experience in Retentics business domains such as data analysis, marketing solutions, e-commerce, etc.
• Development experience using cloud computing like AWS S3, Azure, and understanding of cloud-based web services.
• Experience in deploying with Serverless.
• Experience using data analysis libraries like Pandas, Numpy.
• Someone who seeks solutions from the root of the problem through deep contemplation.

Our Tech Stack

• Mainly uses Python or Go for backend development.
• Uses data processing/analysis libraries such as Pandas and NumPy.
• Uses AWS Lambda as a substitute for frameworks.
• Utilizes AWS S3 for the cloud environment.
• The database used is PostgreSQL.

Notes

• The application process is: Application Submission > First Interview (Skill Set) > Second Interview (Culture Fit) > Offer Meeting
• The results of each application stage will be communicated via email within a maximum of one week, and interview schedules will be sent through Google Calendar invites.
• The first interview involves discussing job-related experiences and competencies with the operational staff for about 1 hour.
• The second interview involves discussing values and organizational culture with the management team for about 1 hour.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
