What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marketing Manager position at Retia Medical?
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic marketing plan to drive adoption of Retia’s Argos Hemodynamic Monitor
- Develop product positioning and pricing strategy in consultation with senior leadership.
- Develop and implement a compelling messaging strategy in consultation with the clinical team.
- Lead market and competitive intelligence activities.
- Conduct primary and secondary market research and support next generation product development.
- Drive brand expansion, including by word of mouth, user and KOL engagement via tradeshows, education, and other programs.
- Develop digital and social media marketing campaigns including website content, social media accounts.
- Identify and partner with creative agencies to produce professional marketing assets, including product collateral, exhibits, slide decks, application guides and other marketing materials.
- Work with PR firms to drive paid and unpaid media coverage as appropriate.
- Monitor and analyze results from digital marketing, tradeshows, workshops and other customer engagement activities to ensure effective spending and return on investment.
- Partner with sales leadership to develop training materials and tools for the sales team.
- Partner with Clinical and R&D teams to build the pipeline of clinical studies, white papers, surveys and other data to support current and future marketing claims.
- Address incoming requests for product enhancement and support from other areas of the organization, such as sales, clinical, etc.
Requirements:
- BS degree required, preferably in engineering, marketing, or life sciences. MBA is preferred.
- Five (5) years marketing experience, preferably at a medical device company.
- Self-starting, organized thinker who can excel with minimal supervision.
- Knowledge and experience in market analysis.
- Excellent oral presentation and written communications skills.
- Good analytical skills and strong proficiency in MS Office, CRM software, etc.
- Management skills and proven ability to work cross-functionally.
- Management/Leadership experience preferred; (3-5 years)
- Medical device domain knowledge, including sales, development and marketing of medical monitoring and associated software
- Expertise and knowledge of SEO, SEM, Digital tools and building and executing digital strategy.
