This position is remote. Work hours are Monday through Friday with some Saturdays needed. 

What you’ll be doing…

• Respond to leads from experienced travel professionals, and individuals new to the industry interested in becoming home based, owner operated, independent affiliates 
• Screen and qualify potential independent affiliates (PIA's)
• Communicate with prospective independent affiliates regarding all aspects of the qualification process in a timely and professional manner
• Follow up with leads in a timely and professional manner
• Identify, research, qualify, and select independent affiliates 
• Build and maintain effective relationships with prospective independent affiliates
• Achieve department and individual goals 
• Present recommendations to the management team for approval 
• Play a key role in both strategic and tactical direction
• Analyze sales processes and identify opportunities for continued enhancement 
• Limited travel to assist in industry events and Avoya Travel functions
• Perform special projects and reports as requested
• Some business travel is required
• Miscellaneous duties as assigned

What it takes to be successful... 

• Strong sales experience with proven track record of success
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
• Ability to interface with all levels of the organization 
• Proven organizational and multi-tasking skills 
• Desire to work in a fast paced, evolving, and collaborative team environment 
• Ability to be proactive, resourceful, and reliable 
• Travel industry experience a plus, but not mandatory
• Computer proficiency
• Ability to work a varied schedule
