We are seeking an experienced CNC operator for our Aerospace facility in Athens, GA.
Essential Job Functions & Skills
- Set up and operation of CNC equipment throughout the manufacturing process.
- Review of shop orders, programs, and cutter list for accuracy prior to production.
- Loads tools and initiates cycle start after tool changes.
- Monitors fail safe motion.
- Monitors machine status and federate signs.
- Inspects for worn or damaged tooling.
- Loads/Unloads material.
- Verifies set-up book instructions agree with the work being performed.
- Follows through with actions requested by supervisor.
- Searches program for correct line/block number to cycle start.
- Loads or remove fixtures for set-up.
- Checks program and cutter list data in machine.
- Inspects and documents in-process check sheets.
- Verifies attendants actions.
