Role Summary
This is a critical role for the advancement of our 503A compounding pharmacy network. Significant time will be devoted to field campaigning and conference engagement with a focus of driving sales by strategically promoting our 503A preparations, accounting for up to 50% of your time. Also responsible for building influential connections and fostering mutually beneficial partnerships with new providers, with a strong emphasis on organic new business growth. This position requires a commitment to exceeding challenging financial objectives while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism.

Network Development and Expansion:
- Identify and target potential prescribers, including physicians, clinics, hospitals, and other healthcare facilities, to expand our 503A compounding pharmacy network.
- Actively seek out new business opportunities and partnership prospects within the healthcare industry, leveraging existing networks and conducting market research.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to organically grow and diversify the network, aligning with organizational projections and market trends.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing network providers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention
Field Campaigning:
- Plan and execute field campaigns tailored to engage prescribers, incorporating in-person visits, meetings, and presentations to maximize impact.
- Articulate the value propositions of our 503A compounding pharmacies and their services adeptly, ensuring alignment with provider needs and addressing concerns effectively.
- Develop and implement strategic campaigns aimed at enhancing brand visibility and fostering provider relationships.
- Emphasize the identification and pursuit of organic opportunities for growth, integrating these into campaign planning and execution strategies.
- Proactively gather feedback from providers to pinpoint areas for improvement and fine-tune future strategies accordingly.
Conference Participation:
- Represent the organization at prescriber-focused conferences, trade shows, and networking events related to compounding pharmacy and targeted therapeutic lines.
- Collaborate closely with the marketing team to prepare materials, presentations, and demonstrations tailored to the specific audience and objectives of each conference.
- Cultivate and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, thought leaders, and decision-makers in the industry during conferences, leveraging networking opportunities to enhance the organization's visibility and reputation.
- Implement a comprehensive post-conference follow-up strategy, including personalized thank-you notes, email outreach, and scheduled follow-up calls or meetings with promising leads.
- Utilize post-conference feedback and insights gathered to refine future conference participation strategies and optimize outcomes.
Provider Education and Training:
- Compile and distribute educational materials and resources to support prescribers in understanding the benefits and best practices of our pharmacies and therapeutic scope.
- Coordinate training sessions with Clinical Liaisons or ConsultRx for prescribers to increase awareness and utilization of our services.
- Serve as a resource for providers, offering guidance and support on compounding pharmacy regulations, compliance, and quality standards.
Financial Goal Achievement:
- Understand and strategize how to meet aggressive financial goals (Minimum 12% growth) for network growth and revenue generation.
- Execute strategies to drive revenue growth, increase market share, and achieve targets.
- Monitor performance metrics and financial indicators, adjusting tactics as needed to optimize outcomes and maximize profitability.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Utilize data analytics tools to track and analyze provider performance metrics, network growth, and market trends.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations for leadership, highlighting key insights and recommendations for optimization.
- Monitor competitor activity and industry developments to identify opportunities and threats to the network.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- Pharm.D. or an advanced degree is preferred. In some cases, experience in compounding sales may be considered over a Pharm.D.
- Proven experience in provider relations, business development, or sales is required. Compounding pharmacy sales experience is a must.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated proficiency in organizing and executing field campaigns, conferences, and promotional events.
- Knowledge of compounding pharmacy regulations, compliance requirements, and industry standards is a plus.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and make data-driven decisions.
- Willingness to travel extensively (up to 50% of the time) for field campaigning and conference participation.
