SUMMARY:
Directly supervise and coordinate construction activities as they relate to drilling, completion, and production operations. This position would be responsible for coordinating and supervising the preparation and construction of drilling pad sites, frac water infrastructure, production facilities, SWD facilities, and pipeline facilities necessary to separate produced fluids and deliver those fluids to market or disposal. Supporting the drilling, completion, and production activities, this work shall be performed with a focus on controlling the quality, cost, safety, and productivity performance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Participate and lead well staking activities by working with land, geology, drilling and survey crews
- Participate in constructability reviews and development team planning sessions as needed
- Provide cost estimates and timing estimates for budgeting and AFE preparation
- Coordinate with supervisor, operations team and development team to ensure that projects are carried out in a timely fashion and designed to meet the needs of the operation
- Onsite supervision of drilling pad, water wells, frac pit construction, and installation of transfer lines as necessary
- Onsite supervision of production facility, SWD facility, and pipeline construction.
- Read and follow plans, material lists and guidelines, and apply necessary timelines
- Review bill of materials and construction drawings for accuracy prior to construction
- Organize, supervise, and lead crews to complete projects
- Organize construction crews and coordinate simultaneous operations
- Perform inspections of in-progress work and identify corrective actions
- Track and complete punch list items throughout the construction phase to post-commissioning
- Identify, correct, and report unsafe behaviors and near misses
- Maintain a clean and well-organized construction site free of hazards and trash
- Submit reports and photos of construction progress and upload into company systems
- Track project cost and timing and compare with budgeted cost and timing
- Balance resources across multiple projects
EDUCATION LEVEL:
- High school diploma or equivalent work experience
- Must have a valid driver’s license and can safely operate a motor vehicle
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Five plus years of experience in oil & gas industry site construction/project management (from concept to commissioning)
- Understand oil and gas production processes, facility operations, construction methods and mechanical principles
- Knowledge of dirt moving equipment and its applications
- Knowledge of gas pipeline construction and design methods
- Possess interpersonal skills, focus on collaborative solutions and positive working relationships
- Effective in time management, planning, scheduling, and prioritizing multiple resource activities as well as concurrent projects to meet deadlines
- Display the ability to pay close attention to detail and maintain documentation and cost tracking under changing, tight deadlines
- Understanding and application of safety requirements as they relate to surface site construction
- Ability to read and understand drilling permits and drilling plat specifics
- Exhibit computer skills and knowledge of relevant technology in using programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

WORKING CONDITIONS:
On worksite locations, incumbents must be able to wear personal protective equipment including but not limited to head protection, hearing protection, safety glasses, safety shoes and flame-resistant clothing. Safety rules, including OSHA and DOT requirements are strictly enforced.
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee can be exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; outside weather conditions; extreme cold; extreme heat; risk of electrical shock; risk of radiation and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be very loud.
