Shawmut Services is seeking multiple highly motivated candidates for the roles of Regional Organizing Director (RODs) for a signature collection program in Massachusetts. RODs work directly with their supervising Organizing Director and/or Project Director to reach ambitious goals and benchmarks. RODs are responsible for the paid organizing efforts in their designated geographic region, managing the office for which they have been assigned and directing the Organizers and canvassers/circulators under their supervision.
RODs must be true self-starters and problem solvers, and able to effectively work with and manage a variety of different personalities. Shawmut Services provides comprehensive jobs training for new hires and we strongly encourage potential applicants, who have the qualified skills for the position, who have never worked in a campaign environment to apply.
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee the execution of the campaign in their region;
- Oversee the recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of all canvassers;
- Manage their offices organizing staff and canvassers as they implement the campaign’s day to day operation;
- Meet and exceed goals for program performance;
- Ensure reporting and accountability protocols are followed to provide up-to-date, actionable data and information to campaign leadership; and,
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Pay: $6,000.00 per month
