The Manager, Media is key to flawlessly executing client digital and linear media campaigns. The successful candidate is a problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment, actively seeks creative media solutions for client business problems and has a passion for presenting their work. The role requires a data-driven storyteller who is able to build, manage and report on multiple clients’ campaigns across a variety of media including: Linear TV, OOH, Radio, CTV, Programmatic and Social platforms and in conjunction with Supervisors and Directors who make strategic recommendations for long term success of a client’s business. Required Skills:
- Experience in media buying and planning across digital channels (Social and/or Search experience preferred)
- Help drive day-to-day innovative strategies to meet and exceed client business objectives
- Managing associate and maintain vendor relationships
- Facilitate the sharing of data and insights among relevant internal parties to inform future strategies
- Foster strong relationships with internal teams and client groups
- Work with media vendors and negotiate rates.
- Complete the proposal, purchase and implementation of the developed plan i.e. RFPs, creating insertion orders, follow up on signatures
- Work with analytics to report on key metrics for campaign effectiveness and develop key findings ad-hoc reporting as needed
- Experience working within various media systems/platforms (SQAD, Telmar, YouGov, Strata, Comcast Ad Delivery, Kantar, MOAT, Prisma, ComScore a plus)
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience with national and local vendors implementing campaigns across a variety of media across traditional and digital media channels
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in advertising, business, marketing, or similar discipline
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Microsoft Office skills; PowerPoint and advanced Excel
- Ability to work independently or in a team setting while effectively managing priorities
- Additional bonus qualifications:
- Exposure to multiple approaches for consumer brand insight (social listening, syndicated tools, primary research)
- Experience with traditional and digital media research, such as advertising effectiveness, ROI a plus
- Local media planning and buying
