Major Responsibilities:
- Knowledgeable in the beauty, skincare, hair, and wellness contemporary and luxury space.
- Set the seasonal buying strategy for REVOLVE & FWRD Beauty to continue to grow the business.
- Develop and manage relevant vendor relationships, as well as relationships across the company channels.
- Analyze business metrics and industry trends to find opportunities for future assortments.
- Actively build out the vendor matrix.
- Manage sales and profitability, gross-margins through negotiation with vendors.
- Manage the buy of a variety of beauty brands and products for REVOLVE.com and FWRD.com
- Identify opportunities and risks in-season through analyzing sales performance.
- Partner with planning and exec team to set and drive financial goals.
- Lead new brand and category onboarding.
- Partner with planning to continuously improve and create reporting and visibility to category, subcategory and brand performance.
- Create and share seasonal guides across the organization to support the overall merchandising calendar.
- Oversee a team of Admins, Assistants and Buyers – developing, managing, and leading their day-to-day responsibilities.
- Plan and execute a site and email merch plan, factoring in sales, exclusive pushes and various marketing initiatives.
- Facilitate and lead various projects – beauty boxes, sampling programs, product tagging for customer experience, etc.
- Lead retail space initiatives as they arise.
- Partner with Brand Marketing to align messaging and product placement through social.
- Partner with E-Commerce Merchandising, UX and operations teams with various initiatives.
- Ensure the company is compliant with all legal requirements for selling within the beauty space.
- Oversee contracts in partnership with legal and upper management.
- Leads high level business discussions with vendors on an as needed basis.
- Work on special projects as assigned.
- Must be able to work flexible hours.
- Some travel required.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion or Business preferred.
- 8 years buying experience required.
- Experience in digital and/or multi-brand setting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of and the ability to apply retail math concepts, including markup, margin planning, open to buy, and inventory productivity measures.
- Proficient in Email (preferably Gmail), Microsoft Office.
