Job Summary
The person in this position will part of the MCBio department. The primary role of the GMP Bioassay Scientist will be to develop and optimize cell-based assays and functional binding assays to evaluate and verify GMP recombinant proteins.
Essential Functions

- Develop cell based assays and functional binding assays
- Optimize and trouble shoot existing assays
- Document experiments and results in a regulatory compliant manner Effectively communicate experimental results and strategies in presentations and written reports
- Write SOP and protocols in support of new product release Work across functional groups to facilitate new product development
- Maintain scientific knowledge and critically evaluate scientific literature and industry trends in order to contribute to new product development
- Write abstracts and present posters at scientific meetings
- Other projects or responsibilities as may be required

Minimum Qualifications - Education and Experience
- MS in Immunology or a related field with at least 5 years of relevant laboratory experience
- PhD in Immunology or a related field with at least 3 years of relevant laboratory experience
- 1 years GMP regulation experience
- Experience in cell-based assay development and functional binding assay development
- 3 years of experience in tissue/cell culture
Preferred Qualifications - Education and Experience
- MS in Immunology or a related field with at least 10 years of relevant laboratory experience
- PhD in Immunology or a related field with at least 5 years of relevant laboratory experience
- Experience in cell-based assay development using primary cells and cell lines.
The base salary range for this full-time position is $80,000 -$97,750. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for a new hire in this position. The base pay actually offered to the successful candidate will take into account internal equity, work location, and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
Please note that base pay is only one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This range allows for the successful candidate to have an opportunity to progress within the position and develop at our company. This base pay range does not take into account bonuses, equity, or other benefits which may be applicable and are dependent on the level and position offered.
