Pay: $17.00-$30.00/hour D.O.E
Description:
Rexius’ Bend location is seeking a talented “B” and “C” level mechanic to maintain and repair a variety of equipment ranging from light duty pickups and trailers to off-road equipment, construction machinery and various support equipment.
Daily Tasks:
- Review repair requests, Driver Vehicle Reports, make repair recommendations, and discuss options with Shop Manager
- Service and repair all small engine equipment including lawn mowers, weed eaters, gas blowers etc.
- Inspect, diagnose physical and operating condition of equipment on a regular basis to ensure safe and proper operations of equipment
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical and physical issues reported or discovered during an inspection
- Maintain proper communication with the Shop Manager, and departments that own the equipment
Requirements:
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- At least 1 year of mechanical experience with an emphasis on basic repair and maintenance
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds throughout the day, maneuver in small areas, and stand for long periods of time.
- Proficient understanding, or willingness to learn, of hydraulics, diesel engines, welding, and fabrication
- Knowledge of power/hand tools
