Position Summary:
Regal Rexnord is seeking a Territory Account Manager (TAM) working in our Climate Solutions Distribution business who will be responsible for driving sales growth of our broad line of HVAC/R aftermarket electric motors, blowers, indoor air quality and power transmission products.
The TAM develops and implements a comprehensive sales plan that includes new and existing sales strategies for assigned accounts. Leads all aspects of customer interface in a geographic territory that includes Nevada, Utah, Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, Hawaii and El Paso Texas. Responsible for achieving sales and margin growth objectives. Gathers detailed information about accounts, identifies decision-makers, understands strategic business challenges and priorities, and leads team in analyzing information and prioritizing opportunities critical to accounts. Provides ongoing support to customers ensuring they receive high quality customer service. Provides training on products to distributors and contractors in their territory. Adheres to all company policies, values, and procedures.
Major Responsibilities:
Lead all aspects of sales strategy implementation within the assigned territory.
Achieve territory revenue and margin plan.
Provide frequent updates on industry and customer trends via Voice of the Customer meetings.
Achieve contractor territory engagement and conversion goals.
Contribute to our knowledge of competitive commercial and product offerings.
Contribute to our vision that ensures ongoing sense of focus, direction and urgency throughout the sales team.
Create and maintain solid professional relationships with key customers and also key individuals with Regal Rexnord.
Facilitate successful customer negotiations.
Prospect and find new channels or customers in territory
Train contractors and distributors on product usage, replacement and installation techniques
Achieve and maintain trust and confidence of all internal functions as required to add team value and achieve goals
Maintain conduct in accordance with Regal Rexnord vision, mission, values, initiatives and company policies.
Required Education / Experience / Skills:
BA or BS degree preferred
5 years practical and progressive sales experience
Proven track record of 5 years of HVAC sales success. HVAC/R industry experience is a plus.
Proven ability to develop trusted, respectful relationships internally and externally.
Demonstrable track record of attainment of sales growth objectives.
Experience in balancing internal and external demands and responsibilities in a matrix environment.
Strong presentation, verbal and written communication skills.
High level of personal initiative, energy and ownership of business results.
Strong computer skills - Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
Strong desire to advance career.
