Responsibilities:

This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary incentive program, subject to the rule governing the program.
Position Summary:
The Yard Jockey efficiently and accurately selects and stages trailers for loading and transport while ensuring proper temperature control as needed. This position understands how to properly operate company equipment.
Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

Load trucks and strap necessary loads for each route

Back trucks into pit and park trucks into yard as needed

Assist with pallet building as needed
- Check pallets after each truck is built
- Clean trailers prior to loading
- Assist with unloading trucks

Maintain organization of pallets and shells

Input data from the truck shipment into SAP
- Assist with replenishment of product in the warehouse as needed

Maintain general cleanliness of warehouse and yard i.e., sweeping and scrubbing of floors, etc.
- Ensure hand trucks and tow motors are charged and put in respective places for drivers
- Ensure all Direct Store Delivery (DSD) routes have a fully charged mule on trailer prior to leaving the dock as needed

Load racks or shippers onto truck during the loading process
- Other projects or duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Required Skills and Experience:

0 to 1 years of yard jockey or related driving experience
- This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test
