Position Summary:
The Campus Marketing Representative supports the Coca-Cola distribution and bottling business for an assigned campus. The Campus Marketing Representative will perform various marketing, promotional and merchandising task/duties.Campus marketing duties will vary according to assigned tasks and class schedule. Hours may be full-time during the summer and become part-time during the school year. Occasional nights and weekends may be required.
Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
- Build and maintain professional relationships with various campus departments
- Build preference for and increase consumption of Coca-Cola beverages on campus by attending campus functions and promoting Coca-Cola.
- Plan and execute promotional events on campus.
- Distribute and place point-of-sale (POS) for bi-monthly promotional campaigns and national Coca-Cola campaigns.
- Survey campus to determine opportunities and monitor campus contractual agreements.
- Manage vending and cooler placements.
- Merchandise and reset planograms.
- Other projects or duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Enrolled as full-time at assigned school as a business or marketing major
- Maintain “B” average or above and high academic standards
- Must have good oral and written communication and organizational skills
- Possess a high degree of self-motivation and ability to work independently
- Leader on campus and active in events/organizations
- This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Second-year undergraduate
- Previous sales experience
